Appearance: Pours a amber blonde with notes of carmeling. Nicely carbonated with a thick white head and some lacing
Smell: Smells of piney hops with a nice malt sweetness surrounding the hops bite. Nice Cascade hopping
Taste: Bitter with a bare backbone of malts. Slightly peppery with an almost bready after rush of taste. Good pale ale bite.
Mouthfeel: The carbonation brings a nice fizz to the tongue, while the bitters help to nicely bite into the tongue and cleanly wash out, leaving a bitter bite on only the top of the tongue.
Overall: This seems to be a nice classic pale ale, a little maltier than Sierra Nevada’s but still with a nice Cascade hop bite.
